The King of Fighters '94 is the first installment in the KOF series. The game was released worldwide in arcades on August 25, 1994. It was later ported to the Neo Geo on October 1, 1994 and the Neo Geo CD on November 2, 1994. The roster includes 8 teams of 3, leading to 24 total characters. However, unlike every future game in the series, you cannot edit your team; you must use one of the pre-made teams.
