SNK launches official Twitch channel; Nemo to host KOFXIV stream this Friday

SNK is hosting two KOF XIV streams this month.  The first one is coming up this Friday and will be hosted by Nemo and Famitsu.  The event will start on Friday 9pm (Japan time) and will be streamed on NicoNico:

Toward the end of the month, SNK is holding a KOF XIV event at the e-sports square in Akihabara.  The event will be streamed on the newly launched official SNK twitch channel:

The event will start on 4/25 from 6-9pm (Japan time) and will feature 24 playable characters.  The first 150 and 500 fans who arrive at the event will receive some KOF XIV merchandise.

Lastly, there will also be a KOF XIV pre-launch tournament at KSB in SNK’s hometown Osaka.  KOF XIV will be one of the three games played on 4/30 (Saturday).

Playable Demo of KOFXIV at Taipei Game Show 2016!

Earlier this morning, SNK Playmore published news concerning the next playable demo location for King of Fighters XIV. The next demonstration location will be at the Taipei Game Show in Taiwan on Friday, January 29th, 2016 to Tuesday, February 2nd.

The Taipei Game Show (TpGS) is the only game show in the country of Taiwan and one of the first gaming show cases of the year. Over 130 companies have signed up to present at this event worldwide. TpGS is hosted at the Taipei World Trade Center: Hall 1.

There is no further information regarding new characters/updates to the game at this time. Stay tuned!

The Secret Society, Dream Cancel, and various members from the KOF community have once again teamed up to create another High Stakes KOF XIII tournament being hosted at the infamous Next Level Arcade, a frequently visited venue of many great players of all games. Arturo “nycfurby” Sanchez of Team Spooky is confirmed to be streaming the event at twitch.tv/nycfurby as well as Team Kick-Punch-Block at twitch.tv/kpblive. In addition, this event is a Dream Cancel Cup Premier Qualifying event for all games in the Finals taking place on January 2016. If you live in the tristate area and or have been looking for a KOF 98, KOF 98UM:FE, and or KOF 2K2UM tournament, then you most definitely do not want to miss out on this event.
