Check out the latest video gameplay tutorial Coliflowerz has created for King of Fighters XIV‘s Billy Kane! It runs down all of Billy Kane’s moves, from his normals all the way to his Super Special moves! You will also learn some easy combos in this video too!
Billy’s combo potential is pretty limited but simple. If you just stick with the midscreen ones you’ll honestly be fine, especially if you play him point. His corner combos are where it gets tricky. It can be weird utilizing Px4 in your combos, but it allows for really awesome extensions. It’s not necessary to an effective Billy, but it might be nice to know.
DiamondDust132‘s tutorials shows basics of the characters in King of Fighters XIV by explaining their normals attacks, command normals, special moves, Super Special moves, best pokes, combos and general gameplan. In this tutorial video, Bandeiras Hattori is showcased and explained thoroughly:
Check out the latest video gameplay tutorial Coliflowerz has created for King of Fighters XIV‘s Kim Kaphwan! It runs down all of Kim’s moves, from his normals (punches & kicks) all the way to his Super Special moves! You will also learn some easy combos in this video too!
Kim is a pretty simple character, the only tricky parts in his combos are some of his qcfx2 K combos and a few of his 3rd position combos. Not much to say but I hope the video helps!
For those interested in learning Angel, Coliflowerz has created a very simple tutorial that explains all of her moves in easy-to-follow detail!
My baby! Very strange things happen to Angel scaling wise when it comes to her supers; some of the oddly short combos are a result of that. As you can tell by the video length, she has a lot of combo variety, all useful in some way because of her multitude of combo starters. I apologize if this video isn’t terribly interesting because of the repetition, but I hope you learn something!

If you’re interested in learning Kim in King of Fighters XIV, Ra3bones recently created a 20 minute tutorial video going through his movelist & general gameplan!
Coliflowerz is showing you the basics of Geese Howard gameplay in King of Fighters XIV! Normals, special moves, super special moves, combos and more are explained thoroughly in this tutorial video!
Geese is a fairly unique character combo wise because he can get extra damage off of OTG (off the ground) hits. It’s important to see where you can get those pick-ups, but sometimes it’s best to not go for them, as they put your opponent out of the corner. Use your best judgment!
Some of Geese’s midscreen max combos are really tricky. There are two aspects that take some time getting used to: whiffed canceled f. A, and hyper hop qcb AC. I like to think of the whiffed canceled f. A as one motion (in other words, d. D~f. A), but be sure to avoid hitting the df spot on your stick, so you don’t accidentally get a qcf. The hyper hop qcb AC doesn’t really have a trick to it, you just gotta practice.
While streaming King of Fighters XIV, JuiceboxFGC took the time to show his viewers how to play Goro Daimon & Ryo Sakazaki! This tutorial video is an except from a recent stream session.
Be sure to watch his stream whenever he is playing KOFXIV! You can even play a long set with him, and he will give you feedback on your gameplay!
Coliflowerz is back with a new quick combo guide, showing basics of Shun’ei gameplay in King of Fighters XIV! You will learn what each of Shun’ei moves do, along with a few easy combos to get you started!
“So when it came to Shun’ei’s MAX mode combos, trying to find optimal but also practical combos was a bit of a nightmare. If you factor in his qcb AC, then his combos get very screen-position specific, and trying to create a list of must know combos in MAX mode was an ordeal. Hopefully what I show you makes sense and helps you with your game.
Shun’ei has a couple of tricky parts in most of his combos. Cancelling his qcb P into qcfx2 K or P can be a little tricky; remember you have more time than you think. More importantly is his air qcf A; in order to be able to do the combos you see after that move, you have to cancel the f. B as late as possible, so Shun’ei lands faster. It’ll take some practice, but if you’re going to play this character, you definitely should practice it until it’s second nature.”
